CORONA VIRUS

CORONA VIRUS

Coronaviruses were first discovered in the 1960s. Coronaviruses are a group of viruses that causes diseases in mammals and birds.
In humans, coronaviruses cause Respiratory Tract Infections that are typically mild, such as the common cold. The rarer forms of coronaviruses are SARS, MERS, and COVID-19 which are very lethal.

 TRANSMISSION

PERSON-TO-PERSON SPREAD

The virus is thought to spread mainly from person to person.
  • Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).
  • Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.

SPREAD FROM CONTACT WITH INFECTED SURFACES OR OBJECTS

It may be possible that a person can get infected by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes. Some examples are shown below.......

And if you touch any of these things by accident, and then touch your Face, OR rub eyes, your loved ones face....
You Might All Fall Sick.
